We’ll send you data usage alerts by SMS or email when you reach 50%, 85% and 100% of your monthly data allowance for your individual service.
If you would like to receive notifications for your shared group allowance, you will need to set these up by signing in to Your Telstra Tools.
If you have Extra Data added to your service, you’ll also receive an Extra Data confirmation alert when we add 1GB of Extra Data to your allowance.
To manage your data usage alerts:
1. Sign in to Your Telstra Tools.
2. Hover over the Services tab and click Mobile and mobile broadband.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Mobile Data Usage Meter under Your Applications.
4. Select the Account Number for shared group notifications.
5. Select Usage Notice from the left-hand menu.
6. Here you can nominate to receive your group notifications by SMS or email and turn off your notifications.
7. If you want to change where your individual notifications are sent to, repeat steps 1-5 then select the mobile service number and update notifications preference. -
